You could either hand wash or machine wash your piece. A lot of my pieces are made from synthetic fibres and can withstand machine washing, however cotton pieces can are durable and can withstand machine washing too. Some natural fibres are more delicate and it's recommended to hand wash them 

Machine washing: 

• Use a gentle detergent. Do not use fabric softeners as this can coat the fibres overall impacting how the fabric feels 
• Machine wash with cold water and on a gentle cycle only - place your piece in a washing bag if you have one 
• Do not tumble dry - high heat can shrink your piece
• Lay flat to air dry on a towel - do not hang your piece as this can stretch out the fibres 

Hand washing:

• Use cold water only - submerge the piece and let it soak for a few minutes. Squish and squeeze gently, but do not stretch or pull the piece
• Make sure your detergent is all the way rinsed out 
• To remove excess water use a squeezing motion rather than wringing out the piece as this can stretch out the fibres 
• Lay your piece on a towel and roll up the towel. Squeeze and apply pressure to the rolled towel to remove excess moisture
• Finally unravel your towel and lay your piece flat to air dry - flip the piece over after a few hours to help dry the other side 

Once your piece is dry, depending on the yarn it can sometimes feel stiff and if you want more structure you could leave it here. If you'd like your piece to have more drape and less structure, you can gently steam your piece using a steamer. Ironing is not recommended, but they often have a steaming function (please always use some fabric as a barrier between your crocheted/knitted piece and the iron as some fibres can shrink or even melt with extreme heat!) 

I ask that you allow at least 30 business days for your order to arrive. If you have not received your order after 30 business days, please contact me quoting your order number

All orders are final. I'm reluctant to offer exchanges, refunds or returns; it's not sustainable!
